My first listing

Let me tell you about my first listing….I got it on my first day of work!

I received my license on March 26th, and I received my first listing on March 26th.  It was 100% a God orchestrated thing.  I did nothing to earn that first listing at all.

A man that was a mentor of Reid’s back in middle/high school at church has kept in touch with Reid over the years.  He stopped getting on Facebook but signed on to look at something a friend of his posted.  He forgot to sign out so the next morning he had several notifications.  Before signing out, he saw that Reid had made a post so he looked at it.  It was where Reid shared my post about starting a new career as a real estate agent.  He reached out to Reid and said that he had a listing for me if I wanted it.  I went to meet him and see his house that day & started getting to work.

He and his wife had talked about selling their house, but kept hearing God’s voice saying to “wait”.  So, they waited.  He knew as soon as he saw my post that God wanted him to reach out to me and give me a wonderful opportunity to start my career.

I am very thankful for the gift of starting out quickly and with a great client and friend.  It’s something I will always remember, and it also shows the importance of trusting and obeying God’s voice in your life.

First day of licensure/work to first closing = 51 days
